Congratulations to Pasindu Siriwardena on the completion of his first project with his new role as Project Manager for Reitsma. Well done on receiving Practical Completion on St Christopher's Catholic College, Panania. The $1.0 Million alterations and additions project has been completed for the kids to start using the classrooms next week. Well done on completing this challenging project working with Sydney Catholic Schools, Pepper Property and JDH Architects.

Our Newcastle team of Jamie Gavin, Michael May, Lee Fox and Arin Pandermann are nearing completion on our $8 million Stage 1 re-development of St Mary’s Catholic College, Gateshead.

The project, initially to be constructed as a single stage, was progressively broken down into four (4) separable portions, to enable partial occupation by the school. Whilst it has been challenging to work in and around the occupied school environment, the client has expressed their gratitude in providing teaching spaces earlier than expected.

The overall project includes construction of new Hospitality and VET faculties, and a network of internal carparks, roads and other site infrastructure.

ReitsmaRFM was excited to work alongside  the Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta and Bow Goold Architects for the completion of the St Bernadettes Primary School at Castle Hill upgrade works.

The project involved installation of a lift and lift shaft, accessible bathroom upgrades and two awnings that were fitted to the pick up and drop zone at the front of the school for staff and students. Reitsma worked closely with the school too ensure a safe operational environment for the staff and students during the construction works, which meant minimal disruption to regular operation of the school.

Thank you Laurie. Thank you for your tremendous 32 years of service to Reitsma. You will be missed on and off the site. Good luck in your retirement.

Great to see some additional completion photos of St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Mortlake. The project involved the construction of a new 3 storey building which included 1 level of basement, and 2 levels of General learning areas, Break out spaces and Administration facilities. Located in the heart of Sydney’s inner suburbs, the project required some careful negotiating with the residents of the densely populated area to be able to undertake the approx 1000m2 basement car park excavation all the way to the installation of last piece of metal cladding to the external facade. This building is a statement piece of modern learning within an established historic area of Sydney. We are proud to have worked alongside QOH Architects and Sydney Catholic Schools on this project.

Reitsma has commenced the demolition and ground works for Pennant Hills Golf Club, Beecroft. The structural works are coming together to make way for the new members entry, amenities block and golf shop in the coming weeks. The project is due to complete early next year.

Finishing touches to the latest stage at Nepean Christian School, Mulgoa. The site team are in the process of finalising the building and cleaning/handing over the two building stage. Our client is excited to have had several opportunities to view their latest classrooms to assist with their occupation of their building. Reitsma Constructions is working with Bow Goold Architect on this project.

Reitsma is excited to return for our 4th major project with McCarroll's Automotive Group at Artarmon.
