Reitsma received the 'High Commendation award' at the NSW & ACT steel excellence awards for our project St Pius X High School, Adamstown
Reitsma are very excited to announce that we have received the 'High Commendation award' at the NSW & ACT steel excellence awards for our project - St Pius X school Adamstown. Working with Catholic Schools Office and SHAC Architects, we were able to deliver this stunning new library for the School. The stunning design includes expansive Aramax roofing, grand timber amphitheatre, seniors learning area, modern study and creation spaces. A towering forecourt structure provides covered outdoor congregation space and links to existing and new buildings.
Well done to our Newcastle project team of Jamie Gavin, Michael May, Matthew Jackson and Arin Pandermann for their tremendous work.
We had the great opportunity last Friday to attend the opening of the brand new women's facility for One80tc. This building in Kurmond, NSW at the bottom of the Blue Mountains, will provide further opportunity to continue the great work that One80tc already undertake. Reitsma are proud to support the work that One80tc already do with treating addictions in young people and are excited to see the transformations in the lives of many young women with this new facility.
Congratulations to Pasindu Siriwardena on the completion of his first project with his new role as Project Manager for Reitsma. Our Newcastle team of Jamie Gavin, Michael May, Lee Fox and Arin Pandermann are nearing completion on our $8 million Stage 1 re-development of St Mary’s Catholic College, Gateshead.
The project, initially to be constructed as a single stage, was progressively broken down into four (4) separable portions, to enable partial occupation by the school. Whilst it has been challenging to work in and around the occupied school environment, the client has expressed their gratitude in providing teaching spaces earlier than expected.
The overall project includes construction of new Hospitality and VET faculties, and a network of internal carparks, roads and other site infrastructure.
